In a consultation with School Finders' College Placement Service, you will have the opportunity to get the answers to many questions about the colleges you are considering:

• Do you want to be in the city, the suburbs, a rural area?
• How are liberal arts, community colleges, universities, professional schools, and vocational schools different? Which interests you?
• Do you want a small campus or a large university?
• Do you need a school with an LD center or other special services?
• How do you like to learn?
• Do you want to live on campus?
• Are the schools you are interested in reasonably likely to accept you?
• Are your SAT / ACT scores good enough, or do you need to improve?

Some students are not ready to commit to a four year college and to going away right after high school. School Finders works with students who are interested in a Gap Year experience, part-time work, and community college credit, or on-line learning to help students determine if college is for them.
